Hey, it’s Amy Newmark with your daily dose of Chicken Soup for the Soul inspiration. It’s summer and it’s time to get yourself on your feet and outside. If you’ve been thinking about getting into a regular routine of running or walking, I have the stories to motivate you today, from our newest book, Chicken Soup for the Soul: Running for Good. It was my coauthor Dean Karnazes who suggested the title Running for Good, and we’re not just talking about how running is good for your fitness, or how you can run to raise money for good causes, but also because running is good for your emotionally. I want to share two stories today from people who used running and hiking to manage their stress, and how it worked in quite a dramatic way.
