Exodus 20:7 and Philippians 2: 5 – 11. Names have meaning. In certain cultures, a name holds significance and in the Old Testament, God’s name held a lot of weight. In this sermon, Roydon Frost looks at just how worthy God’s name is and spends considerable time helping us see how we misuse it. It’s as if we have little concern for his names value. While this message may make us feel guilty, Roydon does show how the Gospel helps us deal with our guilt. In the name of Jesus, we have found and unescapable joy and a fear that honours him for who he is. Will we be willing to die for his name? This sermon shows us that his name is worth it.
