In the words of an old Toby Keith song, “Who’s your daddy?”. This is by no means a new question. It was of supreme importance to the Jewish leaders as it pertained to Jesus. Even though Jesus told them plainly who He was and who His father was, the religious leaders could not understand and believe. Jesus carefully explained to them that His spiritual DNA was not the same as theirs, and, in fact, their spiritual DNA showed clearly that their true father was the devil, not Abraham, as they claimed. What does your spiritual DNA show? Who is your true father? Trusting and believing in Jesus, being "born again", changes your spiritual DNA and proves you are a member of the family of God, the creator/father.
