On Thursday's Morning Focus, Alan spoke to Dr Fiadh Tubridy, who is a Community Action Tenants Union member and researcher at Maynooth University. She discussed the oral history project currently being carried out by members of CATU along with researchers from Maynooth University, focusing on the history of housing activism in Ireland. In the 1970's, a historic rent strike took place in County Clare which helped spark a national tenant's movement. CATU are now actively looking to speak with anyone who took part in the rent strike.
