At the ripe age of 23 I had began my journey in the business world partnering up with my father to help run Gripset. A major problem that always found myself facing were the amount of distractions for a young 23 year old. Having many friends that were either studying or working a standard nine to five job each week, they often had no committments on the weekend allowing them to still go out and party often. However, due to my committments helping my father run a business I often found myself having to reject these offers to go out drinking and focus on putting in the grind to succeed. Although, I do believe you need a work-life balance, but when taking on a role of business owner a lot of scarfices are needed. To hear more about the distarctions i have had in my life and how I have overcome them, tune in to this weeks episode of Climbing With Scars.
