[0:00] Music.

[0:35] Eddie straight off a boat. Yep big Eddie Hearn getting off a boat I tried to explain to my 4 year old have got a little 4 year old son so it’s perfectly normal to accidentally shit yourself. Please stop making fun of me. So didn’t go very well now this is going to be an interesting one regurgitate regurgitate some more. What was said last week but with a bit more clarity soon as I was punching a punch bag. To block posts out now for reference effectively what was saying it’s out of four states of thought.

[1:27] The core active thought which is your day today what was just going through your head all the time. How long can you go to the shops and get myself some chocolate as I’m a fat bastard.

[1:42] Is imagine thought which are, the Dean Trust Amanda love these the most you may not be aware of these but effectively to the thoughts that come from somewhere else. Some say subconscious, the come up and the transparently pass through to active thought and then you suddenly thinking about them and you just treat it as normal are your hours I was going to think about this this is me this is what I’m interested in, Rachel came from somewhere else you didn’t initiate the thread and I’ve got an exercise that lets you see this really fucking cool. Then you’ve got objective. I’m talking about objective is in like target as in like you’ve got an objective to achieve like.

[2:37] And I need to position the CCTV camera in such a way I can maximise the amount of the state that I capture are we going to do that, you’ve got an object of a question and then you use active thought to ponder the Solutions, can you find with these States these four states that there is a lot of crossover these are just things that I’ve observed through. Mindfulness centre quotes meditation.

[3:16] Could be complete bullshit probably is complete bullshit for this is what I have I’ve seen.

[3:26] I’ve had to open the garage door because it’s too hot in England bringing home the bringing it home today. So might be a bit noisier than the normal so far we gone through three of the four let me just summarise those quickly remind you the labels active emerging. Objectives for is in like kind of it something you want to achieve and the last one is observed, doesn’t spell any clever acronym by the way last one’s observed, that’s when you’re in that state of mindfulness and you get to see the emerging become the active and going to expand on that a little bit after this super coffee, oh yeah I do what you’ve got to get a coffee machine that grinds the beans, and then you’ve got a drink it black because that’s what I do so it must be right. You can have hot water you can add water to it’s not milk.

[4:38] How do we see these four thoughts are that I come up with this nonsense.

[4:45] This is the exercise kinda I used to to conclude the information I’ve just shared, close your eyes for 5 minutes. And you think of a pint glass upside down that’s a pint glass upside down, and everytime you breathe out if folks the glass can I sometimes breath can Fog last like my gym and breathing in a really cold wind up your folks the inside of the glass as you breathe in. It clears the glass. Now your objective 104 is just to visualise the fogging and clearing of the glass with breath for 5 min. Ok so that’s your objective your active thought is doing it, is the visualisation of the glass fogging and clearing the objective is to achieve the actor thought is doing it ok there’s two two of all 4.

[6:02] This whole process, is observation because where we’re going to observe I tell you to come back to observation so as you’re concentrating on the fogging of the glass and the clearing of the glass what you’ll notice, this this is to keep this the interesting point for me what you’ll notice is your sudden thinking about something else. You’ll be thinking about something somebody said today or something you said or, something’s probably happened in the day and you’ll just be off thinking about it and then you’ll remember I look like on a second I’m doing this exercise where I need to remember the fucking of the glass, now there was a line there. There was a line between your choice of concentrating on the fogging and clearing of the glass, and then you were you are off somewhere else thinking of something else, that was never your objective you didn’t consciously say I’m just going to go wondering with this of the thought you just suddenly realised you were off thinking about something else and it’s that line and I’m interested in it’s the line between.

[7:13] What what you thought you were doing what you were concentrating on doing and then you mind is off thinking of something else, does it does a beauty there sort of Beauty I can’t put my head on but what you do soon as you realise you’re thinking about this other thing you just bring it back, to the folding and unfolding of the glass you drop that sorting it you just think it’s of anger I’m not I’m not here to do that I’m not here to solve that problem or think about that conversation just going to Tony 5 minutes and it’s going to go back to the fog of the glass you bring it back.

[7:47] And the process will repeat reminders start to wonder and it’s like you’ve got a single threaded, a single threaded bolt pattern caliph really think of one thing at a time and when that that thought comes from the subconscious to the Conscious and it’s more powerful than your. Your will to want to concentrate on the glass it just steals the thread and then your wife thinking about this thing without really noticing it, then soon as you you realise it all off again well I was interested and then you bring it back today the glass.

[8:32] That process is for me observation. Mindfulness meditation. It’s interesting only lasts 5 minutes and it’s just an interesting exercise to just understand a little bit more about yourself now you might go through the process you might go to the processing, conclude something completely different but that’s also fucking cool something that’s something else for you too. Observe about yourself and that’s. Comes across as selfish but it’s tricky as well I think it’s one out it’s one of the driving forces for me is understanding oneself sounds eBay. A bit gay but it reminds me of something granddad always used to say. Would you can’t run through a campsite you can only run because it’s past tense.

[9:50] Not if pro is the opposite of Con what is the opposite of progress.

[10:03] Think about that one.

[10:13] Music.

[10:20] Now not only am I the master of suspense.

[10:40] Too many that wasn’t it was too many on on the roll that was like three, three one liners are on on the road are desperation that I’m going to wrap it up because.

[10:55] Only got one block poster this week which was that one but I was really careful about how I wrote it wants to keep it really simple go over to block. Humpwhistle. Comm read if you want. Retweet or retweet the tweet of This podcast or do something to make me make me happy, for Phil some kind of self validation enjoy your weeks. I’ll be back in 2 hopefully I’ll have come up with some other bullshit to talk about rename the podcast from Cody’s linux and crypto for two reasons one.

[11:38] When I rebuilt my computer my phone sorry. And when searching for the podcast to resubscribe they listen to them when they’re supposed to get constructive criticism really I couldn’t find it opening to decompress one that’s quite a unique search time so I renamed it to kodi humpwhistle. And the other is because I don’t talk too much about linux and crypto these days it’s not because I’m not interested in that just because nothing in particular come up and I don’t want I don’t want to force the conversation to those things still may appear, in the meantime I’m just enjoying as I’ve said before, one of main reasons for This podcast this to for me to practice my speech and communication and just generally thinking on the spot. And I can do that with this nonsense that spoken about today so peace out motherfuckers have a good week. I’ll be back in 2.
