In Episode 22 of Coffee Mindset Go Podcast, we break down the mythical words around optimal performance. In recent years the term “flow” or “flow state” has become a household term. The amount of books and blogs written on the topic are staggering. I’m sure a college somewhere made a hip new course on flow state so all the kids could learn about it as well. As humans, we love the easy answer. The shortcut, the cheat code, and the magical pill. We dream about it as kids and we still chase it as adults. The sad ugly truth is simple. The magical pill does not exist. Flow is just a 4 letter word. 1. Training your mind should be a lifelong study. We all get old. At some point, your body will break down, slow down and just not work as well as it used to. Your mind being strong is the key to willing your body to keep going. Train your mind. Every day. 2. The terms “Flow” and "Grit" are just 4 letters words. You can read all the books you want but the bottom line is High-Level Performance comes with hard work. Performing an act where one has fully immersed take hammering on your craft and training your mind. 3. Smash & Empathy - (A strange combo I know...when you listen you'll understand why) The mind has the ability to do both. Remember, training the mind to come back to center is as important as the ability to effectively smash opponents. Your thoughts are unique, your mind is one of a kind. Train it. Use it. Stay Focused. Be Intentional. *Please leave an honest review on iTunes or your selected podcasting platform. Also, If you find coffee mindset go valuable, please share it with your world.
