In the thirty third episode of Collecting Real Estate, we interviewed Asaf Elkayam from Jerusalem Management. After recording the show, we learned that Asaf means “to collect” in Hebrew so we had to add collecting to the title of the episode. Asaf grew up in Israel and moved to New York City for his high school years. He then attended SUNY Albany and learned how much less properties cost in New York’s capital city. He started investing immediately and still buys and manages in the Albany market today.
