Seeing the differences between other people as "not us" is an easy trap to fall into. Invisible borders, nationalities, cultures, religions and beliefs can create a sense of seperation and "otherness".

But what do all humans share in common? How can we use what we have in common to create peace despite our differences?

We brought Justin Gerard, a former U.S Marine, world explorer and serial language learner to share what he has learnt living with different people and cultures about what unifies us as humans.
