Common Good Podcast is conversations at the intersection of place, belonging & remembering. The framework for the podcast is the relationship of Walter Brueggemann, Peter Block and John McKnight. For this episode, because of the Coronavirus crisis, we decided to consult past guests from the podcast. We asked them, “How are they experiencing abundance in the wilderness of this moment?”Pastor Daniel Hughes was a guest on the final episode of season 2 (June 25, 2018). He leads Incline Missional Community in Price Hill (connectwithimc.com).Sarah Buffie MSW, LSW, was a guest on the fifth episode of season 2 (June 10, 2018). She is the founding director of Soul Bird Consulting (soulbirdconsulting.info). Sarah believes that nothing has the power to heal like supportive relationships. Sarah has worked in community organizing- specifically, Asset Based Community Development, for over a decade and has a deep passion for her work. Her focus is to spread awareness about how trauma affects the brain and body, and teach effective approaches for developing resilience within the people organizations strive to serve, and the people closest to the work, caregivers and direct providers.Troy Bronsink was the host of the first two seasons.
