Alyssa Brigandi is a mom, wife, incredible friend to many, certified health and wellness coach, and postpartum doula at The Seacoast Doula. In this episode, Alyssa begins by talking about how much joy she feels when she witnesses other women discover greater confidence, use their voice, and step into their purpose more fully. She views her work as her own soul’s purpose, and she is truly gifted at holding space for women to share their stories and at guiding them to more clarity, empowerment, and ease within. We chat all about what a postpartum doula is, specific ways she offers support to moms and families, the overwhelm and pressures moms and parents feel in our culture, creating “a village,” and the importance of learning to ask for help (which is so hard for so many). This inspiring woman truly lights up a room with her warmth, beautiful heart, compassionate listening skills, and empowering energy. It was such a gift being in Alyssa’s presence. Enjoy listening to this episode and soaking up her loving wisdom. If you are interested in learning more and/or reaching out to Alyssa directly, go to her website: www.theseascoastdoula.com or find her on facebook and instagram @theseacoastdoula.
