The LA Galaxy get bounced from the playoffs and we talk about the game, the season, and more with ESPN Soccer Columnist Jeff Carlisle. CoG Studios, CA - The LA Galaxy lost on penalty kicks to the Colorado Rapids on Sunday afternoon in the second leg of the Western Conference Semi-finals. It was 120 minutes of boring soccer with the Galaxy only recording a single, weak, rolling shot on goal for the entire game. But it was also a game that mirrored the LA Galaxy's season. On today's show, your hosts Josh Guesman and LA Galaxy Insider Adam Serrano are joined by ESPN Soccer Columnist Jeff Carlisle (@JeffreyCarlisle) to discuss the second leg failure for the Galaxy and highlight some of the key issues that were raised over the entirety of the game and the season. Jeff and the guys will discuss Bruce Arena's criticism of Brian Rowe and Giovani dos Santos, as well as the future of several players and the manager. They'll also discuss whether or not the Galaxy failed to implement their game plan on the Colorado, or if the Rapids simply played their game better. And finally, they'll cover how all the Designated Players fared in this game and whether that was a reflection of the season as a whole. Then Josh and Adam will continue their discussion going into detail about the game and the players that simply should have been more involved and accountable. Was this season just like 2013? Were the injuries just too much to take for an "old" team? Should Colorado have been able to scrape by a team as talented as the LA Galaxy? It's a sad and quick end to 2016 -- just like 2015 and 2013. How different will this team look in 2017? Who could be departing? Who could be staying? It's a great quick show with lots of insight into the last game of the season and the failure of the LA Galaxy to make any significant improvement over the year before. Won't you listen?
