Fashion editor Joy Sewing recently interviewed Dr. Rheeda Walker, University of Houston professor and author of “The Unapologetic Guide to Black Mental Health,” who expressed cautious optimism that recent protests will have real impact in dismantling racism in America. “This is an important time in history,” said Walker, "and an important time to speak up against racism and injustice.” Sewing agrees: "You want to know that everybody kind of joins this fight because it really is a human issue. It's not a black issue. It's not a white issue for me. It's a human issue. How do you treat each other?"
