Today on the podcast we have Nora Resnick. Professionally, Nora is a story teller and content producer with experience in narrative, documentary, and live branded content for client’s including Jose Cuervo, AFROPUNK, Tiffany & Co, and Boost Mobile. Throughout her career she has worked on projects including Noah Baumbach's "Margot At the Wedding," "Friday Night Lights” "The Leftovers," "Prime Suspect," as well as national commercial campaigns. In addition, Nora has a deep commitment to social responsibility and has volunteered across the globe from Thailand to Ecuador and also worked as a Development Coordinator for the Haiti based non-profit organization, We Advance, which was co-founded by actress Maria Bello. She joins us on this episode to share a very personal story of her own, dealing with the topics of death, grief and healing as she recently experienced the loss of both of her parents, within a six month time period. On this episode we take our time to thoughtfully consider many aspects of what it is like to deal with death and grief both personally and through the lens of how it is dealt with in our culture. We are grateful to Nora for sharing her courageous journey with us and although this episode is in no way graphic, it is emotional. Please take care in listening if you are sensitive to this subject matter. Our desire is to explore this difficult topic with the hope that anyone listening can connect and learn from her experience.
