Episode 16 is a brewery interview and tasting bonanza, recorded at the 27th Annual Great Taste of the Midwest in Madison, Wis. on Sat., Aug. 10. Interviews with breweries include Black Husky, Flat 12, Surly, B. Nektar and Perennial. Tasting notes from other breweries include a barrel-aged imperial stout aged on ghost peppers from Zwanzigz Brewing in Columbus, Ind., Goose Island’s Napa County Stout, Dark Horse’s American Muscle Double IPA, and my personal favorite, Bell’s Toasted Coconut Espresso Third Coast Old Ale.
