WikiHouse is an open-source project for designing and building houses. Its goals are to democratise and simplify the construction of sustainable, resource-light dwellings. The project was initiated in the summer of 2011 by Alastair Parvin and Nick Ierodiaconou of 00, a London architecture practice. It has grown around the world with chapters China, south Korea, New Zeland and America. Alastair is deeply passionate about the future of a truly opensource design world and over the following hour him and Ben talk all about the beginnings of this '3rd industrial revolution' and where Wikihouse is heading in the future.
