So much of our days are spent planning what we want while leaving out what we already have. But the real transformation begins when the unexpected becomes an invitation.

And be open to the unexpected.

Look how this year has turned out. Lots of people complain and whine that they don't get enough time with their family.

In 2020, this has not been an issue. Most of our households were graced by the presence of each other. COVID-19 shutdowns became an invitation to connect to your family; very unexpected but a blessed invitation too.

This new year, don't be so adamant about what has to happen for you to do what you need to do.

When the unexpected becomes an invitation, do what works!

The best gift you can give yourself is not fussing over perfection. If perfection is the only way you know, this will slow down your progress.

Let overwhelm escape your every day, and do what works!

1. FOCUS on what you can do in the present.
