18.1: Salvation - The Gospel

On this first episode on our Salvation series, we talk about the Gospel, the Good News - Jesus Christ and Him Crucified. You are loved, you are cherished, God created you; brokenness separated and separates us from God and each other; Jesus, God, became man and died to save, purchase, and redeem you; He calls us to repent and believe in the Gospel; be baptized and receive the Holy Spirit to live a transformed life in Christ, to truly become Christians; we live in His Body, the Church; and He sends us out on His same mission to proclaim liberty to captive, to set them free and to proclaim the Good News. We find in Jesus, the reality of our sin and the greatness of God's love for you. The Gospel is a royal decree of the true King, that our God reigns. Jesus is King, Head, and Bridegroom, and we cannot separate the King from His Kingdom, the Head from His Body, or the Bridegroom from His Bride, which is the Church. "Jesus, King of the Jews" - remember God's love story that is fulfilled in Jesus and His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. God is faithful. He is with you. He is for you. You are worth fighting for. You are worth dying for. You are eternally loved.
