This is the 50th anniversary of Dungeons - Dragons which was birthed in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. It was the first widely-old fantasy role-playing game. According to its publisher, Wizards of the Coast, it has been played by 50 million people around the world.--This weekend they are celebrating with the Dragon Days Fantasy Festival at multiple sites in downtown Lake Geneva. This past Sunday, September 22nd, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel featured their entire front page to Dungeons - Dragons, and there were multiple pages inside the Sunday edition also devoted to it.
