Ahmet Usta earned a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 2011 and an MBA from Yildiz Technical University in 2007.
Usta began his professional career in 1999 by writing articles for gaming magazines about digital game technologies. He has also worked as an IT Manager in various companies since 2002.
From 2011 to 2014, Usta served as Technology Editor of the Bloomberg Businessweek Turkey magazine. Between 2014 and 2017, he implemented technical and administrative projects for the establishment and management of digital and printed media channels on a variety of scales.
Usta founded his own company, Mercek Tech, in 2017. Mercek Tech is a digital-first company that specializes in corporate media channel establishment consulting and content creation.
Usta has translated several books from English Turkish like The Startup Owner's Manual, Identity is the New Money and The Blockchain and the new Architecture of Trust. Usta is also writer of the Blockchain 101 which is the first book about Blockchain technology in Turkish. Usta is a professional keynote speaker, lecturer and advisor in Turkey about Blockchain technology.
