Today’s episode of Curiously Veg Radio was brought to you by Vito's Pizza & Ristorante. An amazing family owned and operated restaurant that offers amazing vegan appetizers, entrees, and desserts!Mention Curiously Veg Radio and get 15% of $15 or more on your next visit!

Today’s episode is all about the Atlanta Veg Fest. We’re still recovering from sleep deprivation and too much amazing vegan food! We had an amazing time and were blown away by the support and interest in this idea turned movement called Curiously Veg!

Our round table talk was a blast (we never did discuss how to kill Superman though…)! A big thank you to everyone who attended and helped spur a lively and entertaining discussion on vegan nutrition! The topics ranged from dealing with new vegan bloat, eating healthy on a budget, stereotyping of male vegans, the protein question, vitamin deficiencies, and a whole lotta awesome personal stories!

We touched on the Dirty Dozen and the Clean 15 when it comes to choosing organics. Use this handy guide from the Environmental Working Group to help you make choices at the grocery store!

The story that got really us talking at the round table was the New York post article My Vegan Diet Almost Killed Me. The article centered on the blogger Jordan Younger, the Blonde Vegan, and her diatribe on veganism. We had a blast sharing stories and opinions about that! Thanks guys!

We hope you enjoyed our recap of the Atlanta Veg Fest and make sure you subscribe so you don’t miss any upcoming episodes! We have more fun and interviews heading your way!
