In today’s episode, legal experts have labelled the dismissal of Odysseas Michaelides as auditor-general a landmark case in Cypriot justice. Lawyer Achilleas Emilianides called the ruling harsh, portraying Michaelides as one of the worst officials ever, despite his ten years of service.
Elsewhere, President Nikos Christodoulides and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis reaffirmed their commitment to the electricity interconnector project during a meeting in Athens.
