On this episode, Cyrus is joined by Akash Banerjee from The Deshbhakt YouTube channel. Akash is a political satirist & host at The Deshbhakt and Founder & Head Chatterbox at @SocialBakBak.
Cyrus and Akash talk about tons of interesting topics - from Akash's origin story from working at MTV and Times Now, his book which he doesn't talk about (because the foreword of the book was written by Arnab Goswami a long ling time ago), working as an RJ for Radio Mirchi and doing a show called 'Dil Chahta Hai' as Dr. Love for them, then going to work at Times Now and TV News, then going back on to radio to become Radio Mirchi's Associate Vice President and Programming Head for Delhi, North and East India and controlling 17 radio stations for them, working in TV news for 10 years, working with Newslaundry as a freelancer, starting his satirical YouTube channel which has now amassed quite a following, being particular about how they do their research, not doing personal or non-factual attacks, studying at Hindu College and St. Stephen's College both, and lots more about Akash's illustrious career. They also get into discussions about comedian Munawar Faruqui's arrest, blasphemy and sedition laws in India and the Greta Thunberg FIR filed by the Delhi Police.
