If you’re being honest, you probably waste way too much time on your phone. In fact, you would probably say that a majority of the time you spend on your phone is an unnecessary waste of time and that it distracts you from your work, your family and your God.

TJ Burdick, author of Detached: Put Your Phone In Its Place, knows all too well the dangers of being addicted to your phone. On the show today he shares his story of overcoming his addiction to his phone and social media. What’s more is he gives a few warning signs that you can look out for that indicate that you’re spending too much time on your phone. Not only this, but he also gives a few concrete steps you can take to detach from your phone and plug-in to life again.
