We are living in a time of excess and extremes politically, economically, and socially. We crave a sense of semblance as we seek out a voice of unity. Discover how to find true peace and happiness within yourself. This week, you'll be exploring Moderation, from Pantanjali's Yoga Sutras. This is part of a collection of meditation series focused on honoring the way you live your life. You'll focus on moderation to help cultivate a calmer, kinder approach to the problems in the world today. This is part 1 of a 7-part Moderation meditation series with the 4th Yama Brahmacharya, episodes 2117-2123. THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE: You're invited to take part in a Restraint Quest where every day this week you direct your thoughts, actions, and words in a positive way to support yourself, without relying on anything outside yourself to meet your needs. THIS WEEK'S MEDITATION TECHNIQUES: Affirmation - "Peace and happiness are within me." Breathing - Inhale: "Peace and happiness ..." Exhale: "... are within me." Mudra - Detox Mudra Chakra - 1st - at tailbone/coccyx - feel grounded Herb - Dandelion - Humbleness Yoga Asana - Sukhasana - Simple Seated Pose
