The Washington Huskies finished on a 19-3 run, eventually outlasting the South Dakota Coyotes 75-55 Monday night at Alaska Airlines Arena.

Jaden McDaniels scored 15 of his game-high 20 points in the first half, and Isaiah Stewart came up with his second career double-double (16 points, 15 rebounds) to pace the Huskies (6-1), despite dealing with foul trouble in the second half. Stewart eventually fouled out with 47 seconds to play.

Jamal Bey started for the first time as a Husky and scored 14 points, while Nahziah Carter added 12 points and 9 rebounds.

Bey, Stewart, and UW Head Coach Mike Hopkins spoke to the media after the game. Here's their comments.
