Allan Hawco shot to fame in Canada with his series, "Republic of Doyle," which aired on CBC TV from 2010 to 2014. Since then, he's appeared in series like "The Book of Negroes" and the Netflix series, "Frontier."

Now, he's back to the 70's to play drug smuggler, David Slaney, who makes a daring prison break in an attempt for one last score with his former partner. The new CBC drama "Caught," premiers Monday, February 26 on CBC Television but Allan Hawco stopped by Daybreak first to preview the series.
