The album was released on April 14th, 2017 on Top Dawg Entertainment after many thought it was dropping April 7th, 2017. DAMN. has two features, U2 and Rihanna, and features production by Sounwave, DJ Dahl, Mike Will Made It, Ricci Riera, James Blake, Steve Lacy, BadBadNotGood, The Alchemist and 9th Wonder. The album debuted at number one with 603,000 album-equivalent units sold in its first week. The album was met with plenty of online conspiracy theories and thinkpieces.
