Dear Audrey - is a entire season of true crime & open source investigation dedicated to solving the mystery and disappearance of a single mother in the nations safest capital city on August 21st, 1993. Her name was Audrey Groat and she disappeared from a parking lot in the nations smallest and safest capital city, Montpelier. Vermont. At the time of her disappearance Audrey was solely responsible the lives of her 6 young children, who she lived alone with and cared independently for. Groats disappearance effectively dismantled the otherwise happy family and sent these 6 girls into a chaotic and lifelong battle to find the truth about what happened to their mother. Along with driving a dividing stake straight down the middle of the family dynamic. 25 years later and after multiple searches, the case remains cold and unsolved. The Dear Audrey Podcast is dedicated to reigniting this investigation, seeking out the voices skipped over during the past attempts at finding the truth and bringing resolution to A case which has haunted the small town I live in and where this mystery took place in the early 1990's. The show will be episodic and will stay 100 percent dedicated to the cold case, the family,friends and the community that knew Audrey when she was here and remember her as if she still is today! It is our intention and our hope that we can effect positive results in this case and we aim to do so by seeking out information,tips and accounts from anyone willing to speak to us about this case.
