Carlos DeLuna was sentenced to death for the murder of Wanda Lopez. Wanda was a single mother who worked second shift at a gas station, and was stabbed to death by a man trying to rob the store. This case comes out of Corpus Christi, Texas, and involves questions in eyewitness testimony, a perfect storm of events that leads to a questionable result, and exposes issues within the death penalty legal system. Tune in to hear how this case unfolded, and where it stands today. Credits: Artwork created by Rosie, Co-Creator of the Podcast They Walk Among Us. Music written and Recorded by LynneMusic.
