Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. He joined Caroline in 1977, touring the country with the Caroline Roadshow for 10 years, having great fun. Barry helped with tender trips and worked on the Ross Revenge in '84 and '85. ...

Welcome to Decomposed Radio show #037! Today we're gearing up for the always amazing, and infamous "Works Party" which will be kicking off at 10pm, at "Area" in Sheffield later today, and promises t be an outstanding night of house, disco, 80's and 90's classics, and obviously TECHNO! Before then however, and to get you in the mood, we have a superb mix of sublime deep techno from up and coming Sheffield DJ Shaun Humphreys.
After moving to Sheffield, it didn't take him long to get inspired by some of the amazing nights and line ups that can be found in the steel city these days, and as a talented DJ he's progressed from organising house parties, to now hosting regular events at venues such as the awesome "Plot 22" along with his partner in climb Matt Arnold. They aim to showcase a variety of DJ's from different backgrounds, as well as some of the regulars from the Sheffield climbing and techno scene.
There's still lots to do to get set for the party (and after party), so we hope enjoy this unique mix from Matt Arnold, and see you at the front later.......
