In 2012, NBC ordered an hour-long pilot from Bryan Fuller reimagining 'The Munsters'. The 'Hannibal' creator turned in a colorful, dark and stylish event which would air on the network as a one-time Halloween special. While ratings were decent and fan response was positive, NBC decided not to order the 'Mockingbird Lane' to series.
