Back in 2017 Universal Studios preemptively announced the creation of Dark Universe. The plan was to reboot the classic Univeral Monsters as slick, modern action franchises.
The second project greenlit? A remake of The Bride of Frankenstein starring Angelina Jolie.
Today Development Hell unpacks why this project never saw the light of day, before examining if it still stands a shot at the greenlight.
