This week on Digital Music Trends we’re easing back into the swing of things after a short break and this episode features myself and Darren Hemmings (Founder, Motive Unknown) chatting about some of the key stories from the past two weeks: Thom Yorke releasing his new album as a BitTorrent bundle, SoundCloud’s reported issues with major labels and 2013 financials, Spotify becoming a profitable company in the UK in 2013, Tidal’s hardware partnerships, the latest on US music sales as Nielsen Soundscan releases the Q3 figures (it’s not pretty…) and finally a debate around the BBC’s God Only Knows video.
Just the two of us but still (hopefully) plenty to keep you entertained.
I really hope you enjoy the show, have a great week and ’till next time!
