This week on Digital Music Trends a special pre-recorded show on music product design featuring Hannah Donovan, co-founder and design director of This Is My Jam and Rob Hampson, digital designer at We Make Awesome Shit.

Through the course of the show we talk about what drew them to designing for music products, some of the key challenges of the field, we discuss the advent of iOS7 and how that influenced the evolution of design for mobile.

We also look at some of the guest’s most recent projects, Hannah talks us through the latest iterations of This Is My Jam and Rob talks us through the design of projects like the Jaguar Skills game, the NOW Music iOS app and the Tinie Tempah app.

All-in-all an unmissable episode if you’re a fan of design or if you – like me – know very little about it!

The next Digital Music Trends show will be on the 16th of October – I’m taking a week’s break – but hopefully there is enough back catalogue on the site to keep you going until then!

I really hope you enjoy the show, have a fantastic week and ’till next time.
