Black lives matter. Do you ever think about a goldfish’s last memory? At the beginning of this episode, Chelsea London Lloyd (@_chelswhoelse_) asks Heather what her goldfish moment was. The moment when she first became aware of death. Today marks ten years since the death of Heather’s mom. Heather was 17 at the time. A while back, Heather sat down with Chelsea for her podcast Dying of Laughter (@dyingoflaughter_podcast), where Chelsea talks to comedians who have lost a parent or sibling. Heather talks about her mom and her experience, and today we wanted to share that talk with you here as well. But go check out Dying of Laughter for the full-length version. That version includes bloopers. Please look at al-anon.org if you are experiencing something similar. You are not alone. Your pain is valid. Thank you to Chelsea London Lloyd for producing and editing this interview. And thank YOU for listening. The show is produced by Heather Ann Gottlieb, Cameron Tagge, Alex Salem, and Tristen Bankston. The theme song vocals are vocalized by Natalie Sharp. The artwork is worked by Kevin Laughlin. The distribution is distributed by WhoHaHa.
