Welcome to our Xmas podcast 2015. This is our 6th podcast episode and has a wide range of content. We interview Martyn Sibley from disabilityhorizons.com about his new travel service accomable and how it is destined to be an important force in travel opportunities for the disabled.
We talk to Dan Burden from Spinal Injuries Association about the help his organisation can offer on helping men and women with spinal injuries find rewarding work in the mainstream workforce.
Then last but by no means least we have the unique Robin from our sexpert from the U.S.A. Robin was visiting London this week and I had the enormous pleasure of spending time with her. Robin. who has travelled the world with her spinal disability thanks to her walker had her mobility put to a difficult test negotiating the London underground network. I felt quite ashamed how inadequate our accessibility is for travellers like Robin. I sometimes overlook how unhelpful our transport can be since I do not have a mobility disability myself. Surely, almost 20 years into the new millennium we can achieve something more inclusive.
So please enjoy our podcast and let us have your input. You can write to me david@podcast@disabilitymatch.co.uk with feedback and suggestions for future content.
