How do the local politics feed into the multiple cons going on, and where do we see the gray in the Black and White Guardians?

In our discussion we talk about the degrees of cosplay, the Cosplay is not Consent concept, cross-play and the differences between cosplay, drag and LARP. What is our personal history with cosplay, and and what do we hope for for the next generation of cosplay now that we have a female Doctor?
