The guys are back, and this time they’re talking about “assimilation.” We know some of our Reformed friends push back on the concept of assimilation, or at least think it’s an overstated need. But Joe and jimmy think it matters for church health. Joe defines assimilation as “the process of becoming a healthy part of a local church.” How is assimilation related to the mission of the church? What does it mean for assimilation to be a structural aspect of disciple-making in the church?
