Hosted by Dr. Bernard Beldholm of Specialist Cosmetic Surgery, this podcast aims to educate potential patients on these life-changing procedures. Every year, hundreds of people walk through our facility’s doors, eager to hold back the hands of time.
A lot of our patients tend to be women in their 40’s who’ve noticed some unwanted changes in their face. Needless to say, they’re not happy with those changes and are eager to correct the problem. In a nutshell, they want to look like their “old selves.”
For many of them, fine lines along the forehead as well as around the eyes and lips are not uncommon. Loose or sagging skin around the eyelids and under the chin/jaw area also become a problem for many women who are 40 and up. That’s why many Australian women turn to Dr. Beldholm for help.
WHO DR. BELDHOLM IS
His interest in cosmetic surgery started more than 15 years ago. For him, he saw this specialised field as a way to make a positive difference in people’s lives. He found that by transforming his patients physically, he could help them feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin.
In his early 20’s, he knew almost right away that he wanted to become an expert cosmetic surgeon. To this day, he thoroughly enjoys the blend of artistry and surgery that comes along with this highly specialised field. Cosmetic surgery enables Dr. Beldholm to interact with his patients and tailor each operation uniquely to them.
Fast forward to today, and the future of Specialist Cosmetic Surgery has never looked brighter. Dr. Beldholm presently sees patients regularly in the Hunter Valley and Newcastle region.
After more than a decade of performing cosmetic surgery full time, Dr. Beldholm has pioneered many modern surgical techniques, including the mini facelift. In doing so, he’s able to give his patients stunning results that leave patients smiling but without the long and painful recovery that is generally common after surgery.
WHAT TO EXPECT
According to Dr. Beldholm, a patient’s transformation begins long before they reach the operating table. At Specialist Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Beldholm likes to make sure his prospective patients are fully educated about their options long before they set foot in his office.
It’s for that very reason, he’s created this show. With each podcast, prospective patients will learn about a wide range of topics for facial rejuvenation surgery. No topic is off limits. Some of the things he might discuss include the recovery process, the cost, new techniques, what to expect before and after surgery, etc.
