Histrionic personality disorder is a personality mental disorder characterized by inappropriate attention-seeking behavior, rapid emotional shifts, and exaggerated expression of emotion. Put them in a position of power such as a manager, parent, teacher, owner and then you have chaos with a capital "C." They view themselves as fun and fun loving, yet often misunderstood. Histrionic comes from "hysterical." They are high maintenance people and highly dependent people on others acceptance. They can be the life of a party and then destroy it.
