PT Money (Philip Taylor) is mostly known for starting a very successful financial bloggers conference called FinCon. But before he became a community leader, we had a eerily similar beginning.

He learned how to design and code websites because he was the drummer in an original rock band and they needed one. I have the same story, except I played guitar.

He built PTMoney.com and became a part of an online community called The Keyword Academy the same year I did. I also talked to Mark Butler on this show about it. I’m five episodes in and it’s already a small world.

PT is a kind and generous person which you’ll notice immediately when you meet him. I believe this makes him a perfect community leader.

You should tweet him and tell him how much you loved this interview. He will certainly appreciate it. Make sure you follow him, too and check out FinCon, even if you’re not a financial blogger.
