The structure has a stepped design that tapers at the top, reminiscent of classical Manhattan architecture, and has already won an INOVA award from Quebec Urban Design Institute. The US$38-million project will house more than 300 condominiums with views of the St. Lawrence River or Mount Royal, four floors of offices and a supermarket. It is cloaked in a black and blue curtain wall. ONE DEAD, ONE INJURED IN JOBSITE ELEVATOR MISHAP IN INDIA A 35-year-old female construction worker was killed, and another was injured as a result of being crushed by an elevator on a jobsite in Hyderabad, India, on January 30, Telangana Today reports. The injured woman was transported to a hospital and reported to be in stable condition. Police are investigating the incident, which involved the women becoming caught under a construction elevator. The fatality was attributed to severe head injuries.
