The Power Of Uniting In Business – when we come together we are stronger.

God teaches us all the way through the Bible that we are stronger together. Where two or more heads come together, great things can happen. So how does that relate to our businesses?

For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

Romans 12:4-5 | NIV |

We each have our own strengths and weaknesses. We all also have our businesses that are big, small, and have all different products and services that are needed in the marketplace. The world needs all of these different businesses to help people with their problems, and hopefully, make their life better from having them. When we come together as one in the church and in business, we have the opportunity to do world-changing things through the power of our resources and connections.

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!

Psalm 133:1 | NIV

As we each grow our businesses and develop them, it’s so important that you surround yourself with like-minded women. Women who share the same faith, and have most probably been through what you have been through and can share some wisdom and light. (Well, at least one of us can). When we come to road blocks, or we are unsure about how to tackle something, we can ask for help, or we can pray.

I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.

1 Corinthians 1:10 | NIV |

Because God loves unity, the repercussion of that is the devil loves to divide. So when we are in division, we can’t accomplish such greater things than what we can achieve when businesses come as one together.

“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

Matthew 18:20 | NIV |

But when we do come together and pray in Jesus name, we know that Jesus is with us and we can accomplish great things for him.

And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

Colossians 3:14 | NIV |

Doing business together means we can share more love on the world. There was a great article that I read on bible.org by author Howard Macy. I found it the best description of what happens when we unify and build communities:

“Christian community is simply sharing a common life in Christ. It moves us beyond the self-interested isolation of private lives and beyond the superficial social contacts that pass for “Christian fellowship.” The biblical ideal of community challenges us instead to commit ourselves to life together as the people of God.

Love one another, forgive each other, and regard each other more highly than yourselves. Teach and correct each other, encourage each other, pray for each other, and bear each other’s burdens. Be friends with one another, kind, compassionate, and generous in hospitality. Serve one another and submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. This list just scratches the surface, but it is enough to remind us that we need the community of faith to grow up in Christ.” Bible.org – Howard Macy.

If we can help each other grow, if we can lift each other up and help each other see our weaknesses (in a nice way), then I believe we can build a movement of world changers in the business world – and that is my intent with the Christian Women In Business.

I have a vision to bring us all together to build one big body of world changers, where Christian missions and NFP’s can unite, and businesses can help to resource them. Where we can be sisters in business and help stand together in prayer, and help each other grow.

This to me is a great way to help us what we have got to build God’s kingdom and help each other take over something so secular that we can influence and be awesome stewards for God.

As one unity, we can be extremely powerful for each other, for our local communities and for the world.

We are uniting and building a movement of hungry, active Christian Women In Business who are coming together for God, to encourage, strengthen and unite each other. If you would like to unite with us and be in a movement that is soon to launch, sign up below. We’d love to meet you and have you on board.
