Steve Roemerman, CEO of Lone Star Analysis, a north Texas-based analytics company serving the oil and gas industry, has a good rule of thumb for on-site data collection from the oil fields. "If you can't order a Domino's Pizza and get it delivered, then you probably don't have the infrastructure to [deliver on-site data from the pad site.]," Roemerman said. In this episode of the Energy Podcast, Roemerman discussed how seeing these challenges is how Lone Star Analysis has created efficiencies and breakthroughs in big data that weren't previously recognized.
