Brendan Gargano is a professional Graphic Designer, Iowa State grad, and Cyclone superfan who updated the classic Johnny Orr "Orrnado" design two years ago and even pitched it to Athletic Director Jamie Pollard. He, along with many others, had noticed the need for ISU to have a secondary mark on their uniforms. This design has now been shared around since last Thursday and is being compared to the new logo unveiled on the helmets against Texas on ESPN. In this episode, Brendan, Tim Flattery, and Andy Flattery hash out the new logo and what happened to the superior version that he proposed two years ago.
