In this episode of the Escape Diet Prison Podcast, I talk about the ridiculous notion of us being able to outsmart our bodies. The truth is that you will always lose when you decide to count calories, macros, micros, protein, carbs, points and whatever else you can come up with.

Your body is not a machine that can be tricked into needing the same nutrition every day.

Your body is not a robot that is satisfied by dead calories. Your body is not a thing to be filled with numbers. Your body is a living, breathing being that deserves to be listened to, paid attention to and treated with kindness and care.

The myth of having a day of a perfect diet is always self-defeating and unnecessarily painful. All that is necessary for true liberty from your weight agenda is to listen and respect your vessel, your body.

The moment you truly understand that you can’t ever win the battle against your body’s biological needs (aka. appetite, hunger, thirst), you will live at peace.

Don’t believe me? Try it.

Truly release the agendas you’re still holding on to and you’ll see that this is all you need to do in order to be liberated from your dieting hell.

It’s not magic (although it is), it’s simply the full-on and open surrender to what is instead of what the diet industry tells you needs to be.
