Kari Morin is a working mother of three growing boys who knows how challenging it can be to take care of your own health and energy, let alone guide the nutrition and meal plans for a busy family. Kari is a firm believer in the "oxygen mask" theory of parenting: secure your own balance and wellness first, and then tend to the well-being of those in your care. It will be much more effective, and she speaks from years of experience with her own family life.

Passionate about all things food, health, and vitality at any age, Kari loves cooking, creating recipes and working with food as medicine and fuel to feel your best. Kari’s greatest pleasure is inspiring clients to find their nutritional and lifestyle balance, and then together create easy but delicious meal plans that feed the body and soul. Kari is currently designing small group classes around topics such as quick and delicious family meals, hormone-friendly holidays (pairing appetizers with wine that your body will love), and cleansing foods that won’t make you feel deprived.

Kari studied at the Institute for Integrated Nutrition where she was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle cooking and coaching methods. Lecturers and teachers include Mark Bittman, Andrea Beaman, Dr. Andrew Weil, and several other experts and chefs in the fields of health, wellness, and the food industry. In addition to her education on dietary theories and food as medicine, a large focus on the program is what’s known as Primary Foods, the areas of life that feed us, such as relationships, career, finances, creativity, etc. When our primary foods are in balance, we have a much more balanced relationship with secondary foods, which are the foods and liquids we put in our bodies for fuel and sustenance.
