In a wonderful Washing Post article, by Dan Biaz and Clara Ence Morse, "America democracy is cracking. These forces help explain why." These two reporters point out the cracks in our system, one being that our elected officials do not represent the majority of voters. Twice in this decade the individual who entered the Oval office did not win the popular vote. That means all decisions from the Supreme Court nominations on do not reflect the majority of our countries values. This only occurred three times in the previous 200 years. Hence, our divided nation. If you want your voice to be heard speak up. In 1968 it was our youth that brought on change, it may fall to this group again to find their voice.
