In scripture, Jesus called one man His son. Why was this, and what prompted Him to do it. Today we have the distinct honor to welcome back to FOC a very special pastor, mentor and most of all a friend to not only me but many others here in our congregation – Pastor Dan Mundt. Dan along with his wife Cindy had served as the pastors of Faith Outreach Center for 16 years! He now leads the Heartland District of the Foursquare denomination of which he overseas the states of Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Dan or as we so affectionately like to call him “PD”, will be presenting a very uplifting message this Father’s Day. His subject matter will help us better understand why Jesus so caringly spoke of the paralyzed man in the book of Mark chapter 2 verses 1 – 12 as His son. Let’s now join PD in a sermon he is entitling, “Jesus Called Him Son”.
